Durham Parent is proud to partner with renown author Sara Dimerman to help parents cope with daily parenting issues. Sara is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as an individual, couple and family therapist. She is the author of 'Am I a Normal Parent?' (Hatherleigh Press, USA, 2008), is quoted regularly in magazine and newspaper articles and appears on radio and TV across North America.

Durhamparent.com is introducing a new section this March! If your writing can engage our audience, which is predominantly female, aged 30 and up, you have a sense of humour and are resilient to criticism, we want you! Your pitch must include, one example of a 400-word blog, a short bio, a title for your blog, a theme, and how you think your blog will keep people tuned in each week. You must be able to commit to writing an impeccable 400-word weekly blog (due each Monday). Anyone can apply, however, only those selected will be contacted. No phone calls please. We will be selecting one mom, one dad and a local teen aged 13-18. While there is no remuneration the exposure and notoriety is priceless.
